What is Inspection? … The Tri-Global Inspection module was designed to be an extremely easy to use and customizable tool for carrying any type of inspection out into the field that you desire. Tri-Global has created a number of industry specific inspection templates that are ready to use. However, the power of the inspection tool is in its ability to be easily customized. Inspection started from our very popular “BarcodeMapper” application. It is designed with idea of connecting Trimble GPS equipment to a Bluetooth barcode scanner, for easily collecting outdoor assets. The limitation to BarcodeMapper was the fact that non-GPS positions could not be collected. The inspection tool gives the user the additional flexibility of manually “GeoSpatially” locating the inspection on his map, such as an indoor asset location on a building footprint (example1). Advanced types of field support make this tool additionally powerful. The dichotomous key field type can be used to provide complex results to novice field users (see inspection movie). No matter what you are inspecting, the Tri-Global Inspection module can help you get it done faster.
