Adding Units and Spans

This guide will illustrate how to add units and assemblies within Orbitas Field for quick and efficient staking. There are several methods off adding Units and Assemblies to collected locations, based on your configuration.

Adding Units/Spans with a "dynamic" Location Type

Location Types within Orbitas are separated into Dynamic and Static. A Dynamic location type will open a set up menu driven selections after saving, while a Static location type will return you to the main map after saving.

Units and Spans are configuration based. If you have a configuration with Units and Spans, you will have a specifically named location type that is considered "dynamic".

This location type will open the Units/Spans form upon saving the current location. One common example of these Location Types is called a PartnerUnit.

This location type when saved will directly open the Add Units/Spans form.

To add units and spans with this method...

Collect a PartnerUnit as the location type
Click on the arrow to the right on the top line of the form to enter the Filter Tree
Filter through and select the unit you wish to add. You will notice it auto fills the top of the form.
Fill out any other necessary information and click the + icon in the top right corner.
If you have the volume up you will hear an audible que. You will also see the unit name disappear from the top line.
